Mentors of the Atelier POZNAN 2014 #1

In the run-up to the Atelier for Young Festival Managers in Poznan from 20-27 October 2014, all presenters who will participate in the Atelier to exchange with 45 young artistic festival directors from all over the world will be introduced. The first four of sevent presenters we present are:

MICHAŁ MERCZYŃSKI - General Director of Malta Festival Poznań and Nostalgia Festival Poznań

ANNEMIE VANACKERE - for 16 years was an international expert on theatre and dance in Netherlands. She is the Artistic & Managing Director of the theatre and international performance centre HAU Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin.

BERNARD FAIVRE D'ARCIER - former long-standing Director of the Avignon Festival. He is the President of the Lyon Biennial in France, Vice President of the Theatre de la Ville de Paris, Cultural Consultant at BFA-Conseil, and the initiator of the Cultural Cooperation Institution Metz en scene.

HUGO DE GREEF - the General Coordinator of the Atelier For Young Festival Managers. He co-founded the Informal European Theatre Meeting (IETM), the Flemish Theatre monthly ETCETERA, the international publication THEATERSCHRIFT, the Philosophy Festival, the European House for Culture in Brussels and he has been the General Manager of the Kaaitheater in Brussels.

NELE HERTLING - organizer of contemporary dance festivals in Berlin: Dance in August, International Dance Festival, Theater der Welt. She is the Vice President of the Academy of Arts in Berlin and a founder and member of many international associations such as the European House for Culture and “A Soul for Europe”

ROBYN ARCHER - DEPUTY CHAIR AT THE AUSTRALIA COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR AT THE LIGHT IN WINTER IN MELBOURNE, STRATEGIC ADVISOR GOLD COAST ARTS AND CULTURE AT QUEENSLAND,MEMBER OF COUNCIL FOR AUSTRALIA LATIN AMERICA RELATIONS (DFAT) AND MEMBER OF EUROPEAN HOUSE OF CULTURE.
