  • Projekt. Noce i dnie [Project. Nights and Days] is the second presentation (after Teraz jest czas) of Mikołaj Mikołajczyk’s work with the singing ensemble Wrzos from Zakrzewo near Poznań. The elderly people’s choir at the Community Centre in Zakrzewo was founded not only to fulfil their need for musical expression, but also to create a community that overcomes the stereotypes related to old age. In their latest project, the choir members approach not only theatre of movement assignments, but also their own life stories. They find inspiration in Maria Dąbrowska’s Noce i dnie [Nights and Days], a historical novel set in Wielkopolska.
The show also features dancer Iwona Pasińska and actor Adam Ferency.

The show was created within the framework of Wielkopolska: Rewolucje, a project of the Regional Government of Wielkopolska, curated by Agata Siwiak.
