  • Egzorcyzmy [Exorcisms] is Tadeusz Janiszewski’s original multimedia monodrama, which touches upon the problem of constantly re-emerging intolerance, xenophobia and hatred towards the incomprehensible, the unnamed, or simply, alien. When and why are people exorcised, those who think differently, who come from other cultures or hold different religious or general beliefs? The show intends to provide a connection between generations: to provoke discussion and the sharing of experience. It has been created in the process of a dialogue with the audience, during open rehearsals and post-performance meetings.

  • TADEUSZ JANISZEWSKI is an actor and theatre director who has been working with Teatr Ósmego Dnia for fourty-five years. He has co-authored Teatr Ósmego Dnia’s scripts and programme texts, and has taken part in all its shows. Between 1993 and 2000 he was the theatre’s managing director. In 2011, with Barbara Theobaldt, he directed the Polish-German show Das Eigene und das Fremde, which was presented at the LOT Theatre in Brunswick and in France. He has appeared in numerous feature and documentary films and in televised theatre productions.
