  • The guiding motifs of the play Dr@cula. Vaginadentata are the tribulations of Alicja, a confused teenager, who is about to turn sixteen and is starting to think a lot about sex and sexuality. She feels pressured by her environment, but tries not to succumb. She looks to celebrities, to a priest and to her chat room friends to find support and guidance. Alicja’s story is interwoven with that of a Transylvanian vampire who has somehow found himself in present-day Poznań and is not really handling our modern times too well. With a bitter sense of humour, the play describes models of sexuality, the vampirism of the Internet and the superficiality of apparent authority figures: from the Church to political leaders. It is a witty satire on the modern world.

The show is recommended for persons aged 16 years and over.
