Assemblages is a three-channel video installation based on a several-year long research of Félix Guattari, his revolutionary psychiatric practice, political activism and interest in animism, especially in Brazilian and Japanese contexts. The installation consists of fragments of documentaries, film essays, radio interviews, discussions with the philosopher’s friends, materials about the La Borde clinic and institutional psychotherapy, as well as material shot in Brazil while working on the project.
The film Assemblage was chosen by Cecilia Bengolea.
