Every third house in the world is built of clay and straw. This solution ensures a special microclimate inside such houses: they are cool in summer, warm in winter and they really breathe which makes them really good for even the most sensitive allergy sufferers. Moreover, the method is ecological, inexpensive and quick. During the workshops at Wolności Square, we will lay pressed straw bales within the structure of wooden walls. We will also apply clay plaster under the supervision of experienced builders. Our walls will then be used to create the Home at Liberty installation.
